Laura Mingail is a regular speaker on VR and AR, focusing on the fast-evolving applications to help drive sales and engagement with brands, and entertainment content. She is also a contributor to UploadVR, the world’s leading source for VR news, uncovering and sharing consumer-related insights based on personal experience and talks with industry thought-leaders.
Since 2015, she has helped to initiate and build initiatives that harness VR to drive consumer engagement and sales, such as the development of the VR AR strategy for the ecosystem of businesses under one of Canada’s leading entertainment companies, Cineplex Inc. The portfolio of brands that she has worked with includes entertainment brands, such as Disney Junior, CTV – Canada’s most-watched television network, Sony BMG Music Entertainment, and Def Jam, various consumer packaged goods brands under the PepsiCo umbrella, as well as several Canadian online and bricks-and-mortar retailers.
