Karen Vanderborght is a design technologist, UX/UI/interaction designer, educator and digital artist with 30 years of experience in the media industry. Her practice traverses the intersections of technology, art, and games and explores “phygital” play, AI co-creation and spatial computing. Her clients are marketing agencies, NGOs, research centres, start-ups, cultural organizations and entertainment producers.
In 2020, she founded XR boutique studio KrakXR and the dada art collective RAARAlab. Her art career has been recognized through grants, residencies, and awards and is represented by Argos Center for Audiovisual Arts, Brussels and Floating Point Gallery, Toronto, Canada.
