Karen Darricades is the founder and CEO of LitKit, an XR Edutainment company empowering the next generation of creative technologists through mobile-first maker-kits that focus on media technology such as: the animated-GIF, augmented reality, artificial intelligence. emoji and much more.
She is the founding Artistic Director of the award-winning non-profit Never Gallery Ready, the host of the #WeMakeMedia podcast and co-host of Watch Me Work, as well as the Head of Arts and Culture for Creative Commons Canada. Her new media art works have been exhibited internationally and she is on the community advisory board at Artivive app and the Professional Advisory Council of Sheridan College’s Creative Industries Management program.
