Jason Moore is a cross-platform writer, producer, and director with 25 years of experience in film, theater, television, and virtual reality. He holds a B.F.A. in Theater Arts and an M.F.A. in Film Directing from UCLA.
His award-winning films, *Paradise, Nebraska*, *American Seoul*, and *Animals*, have screened at over 60 film festivals. *Paradise, Nebraska* was distributed on multiple national and international TV outlets, including The Sundance Channel. Moore has directed TV commercials for brands like McDonald’s, Toyota, Beeline, and Gambrinus, working with agencies like DraftFCB, BBDO, DDB, and Lowe. His TV directing credits include *Strictly Sex with Dr. Drew* (Discovery), *Who Gets the Dog* (Animal Planet), and *Hooked Up with Tom Colicchio* (The Conversation Channel).
Moore created *The MetaMovie Presents: Alien Rescue*, a pioneering live VR experience that blends cinema, video games, theater, and role-playing. It received the FanHeart Award at the 2020 Venice Biennale, Best Multiplayer Experience at the 2021 Raindance Immersive Festival, and was named Best VR Experience of the Year by XRMust Magazine in 2021. It continued to earn accolades, including Best VR Experience at the 6th Annual VR Awards (2022) and Best Multiplayer Game at the AMAZE! International Games and Playful Media Festival (2023). Moore’s company, The MetaMovie, was named Rising VR Company of the Year at the 7th Annual VR Awards.
He is a member of the Producers Guild of America and the Academy of International Extended Reality, and an Associate Professor of Emerging Media at Brooklyn College, City University of New York.
