Dr. Haeun Lee is a research professor at Hongik University, specializing in AI-driven immersive media content and XR (Extended Reality) technologies.
Her research focuses on Virtual Performance Construction, Digital Humans, AI-powered Style Transfer, and the Metaverse, with a particular emphasis on integrating AI and XR technologies to create next-generation immersive experiences.
With a Ph.D. in Fine Arts and a Master’s degree in VR·AR Content from Hongik University, Dr. Lee has published multiple academic papers on AI-assisted virtual performance systems, digital human representation, and immersive media environments.
At the VRTO 2025 Spatial Media World Conference, she will share insights based on her involvement in a national cultural technology project, focusing on AX Curation, Digital Humans, Real-time Multi-user Interaction, and VR-AR Transition Technologies for Immersive Content Development.
