Ben Erwin is a digital polymath and internet frontiersman who has made significant contributions to the XR industry. Through initiatives like The Polys – WebXR Awards, WebXR Summit Series, and MetaTr@versal, he has raised awareness and fostered engagement with the immersive web. With a background in development, executive roles, and advocacy, Ben has worked with major brands and served as a webmaster for the United Nations and partner NGOs.
He is dedicated to recognizing pioneers in XR and organizing events that promote open standards and platform interoperability for the Metaverse. Ben’s belief in the positive potential of immersive content drives him to shine a light on innovators, preserve their legacy, and inspire others to build upon their work. In addition to his previous endeavors, he is also the co-founder and producer of Ready Player Golf and hosts the series “Meet The Makers!” to showcase the work of XR pioneers.
