Philip Lelyveld | USC Entertainment Technology

Philip Lelyveld runs the Virtual Reality / Augmented Reality Initiative at the University of Southern California’s Entertainment Technology Center (ETC), a think tank within the School of Cinematic Arts. He has significant expertise in the technical, legal, and business issues associated with the production, distribution, and monetization of content and services, which he acquired during his 10 years as the VP Digital Industry Relations within Disney’s corporate New Technology and New Media strategy group within Strategic Planning.

Richard Broo
Richard Broo | Wemersive

Richard started his career in the music industry at age seventeen, working for a music production company in Europe. After a decade working alongside major recording companies and artists, Richard jumped into the technology sector. Richard began working for an app development firm where they created one of the first VR mobile players in 2010. After successfully launching several award-winning mobile VR experiences with the firm, Richard and his development team ventured off to found Wemersive in 2012. Since then, Wemersive has powered some of the greatest Mobile VR experiences on the market.

Nyla Innuksuk
Nyla Innuksuk | Founder – Pinnguaq

Nyla Innuksuk is the founder of Pinnguaq Productions. Pinnguaq – which means “Play” in the Inuktitut language – is a company focusing on film, virtual reality, gaming, education and application development with offices in Nunavut, Ontario and B.C. The company recently created an experiential trailer for the Canadian cult film Bang Baby Bang.

Blair Renaud
Blair Renaud | IRIS VR

Founding three VR start-ups in the last two years, including IRIS VR (a VR game studio); Quantum Capture (creating photo-realistic digital humans); and Occupied VR, one of Canada’s leading VR client service companies. He is currently is working on multiple VR titles for the Oculus Rift, Samsung Gear VR, Sony Morpheus, and the HTC Vive. Titles range from his Cyberpunk adventure game Technolust, to experiences based on the works of director David Cronenberg in co-production with the CFC.

David Brady
David Brady | Co-Founder – Cream Productions

In 2003, he co-founded Cream Productions and has since made the company a leader in the international marketplace. At Cream, David oversees development, financing and production – virtually all of Cream’s output – and leads the business development of the company. Familiar with telling stories in the rugged natural world, David is currently Executive Producing the second season of international hit, Wild Things with Dominic Monaghan for travel channel and OLN. In his role, David occasionally gets the chance to direct projects. These have included The Underground War, which was a hit on History Television and broke ratings records on Channel 4; and Breathing Fire: The Greatest Untold Story of the First World War (1×120’) – a cutting edge archaeological special (also for History and Channel 4) that breaks ground on the Somme battlefield for the first time since The Great War. David is also the co-founder of Survivorman Productions Inc. and, as executive producer and producer; he is behind the hit series Survivorman, on OLN/City TV and Discovery US.
