Designing Digital Prototypes

30 years ago, the invention of 3D modeling dramatically changed the entire engineering industry. Designs became more fluid, complexity increased and manufacturing became digital. We about to enter a new realm of design where reverse engineering, generative algorithms and virtual reality are going to tilt the engineering world on its axis. The geometry complexity we are about to experience will require highly-collaborative simulated virtual environments that allow us to tightly integrate nature and technology. Inspection, training, and generative design will be able to be done in a single space, accessible to collaborators across the globe. Welcome to the new engineering revolution!
